London City - Things to do

London’s West End

London’s West End is famous for its numerous world famous theatres, tourist attractions and shopping.

Some of London’s West End’s must see attractions include:

Oxford Street. A visit to London isn’t complete without a stroll down one of Europe’s busiest shopping streets. This street contains all of the major flagship stores, iconic department stores and a wide range of eateries.

Marylebone High Street. Experience village life in the heart of London here in this sheltered West End corner. With its elegant boutiques and quiet restaurants, Marylebone High Street seems a world away from the hustle and bustle of Oxford Street.

The West End. The theatre district in London is similar to New York’s Broadway district. It plays host to some of the world’s best musical theatre shows and accommodates thousands of theatre goers every year. Shows such as Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Chicago and Wicked are shown on the stages of theatres such as Her Majesty’s Theatre, Queen’s Theatre, Cambridge Theatre, and The Apollo Victoria Theatre.

If you are attending one of these Went End Shows why not stay overnight at Clayton Hotel Chiswick which is ideally located just minutes from the West End.
