The flagship Selfridges on London’s Oxford Street is the second largest department in London after Harrods. It is one of the biggest draws of Oxford Street, and is the perfect destination for anyone that is interested in a full day’s shopping. Harrods

Harrods has been a hugely popular luxury shopping destination for Londoners and tourists alike for over 160 years. Browse the range of stores located in this magnificent building or choose from over 27 restaurants to sit back and watch the world go by. Two memorials commissioned by Al-Fayed are located in the department store to celebrate the lives of Diana, Princess of Wales and Dodi Fayed.

Brent Cross Shopping Centre

At Brent Cross whether it’s fashion or food you are looking for you will be sure to find something that is just for you.

With over 120 stylish shops, cafes and restaurants the choice is simply fantastic. Well known stores such as Boots, Fenwick, H & M, John Lewis, Marks & Spencers, Waitrose and WH Smith can all be found under the one roof at Brent Cross.

Getting to Brent Cross couldn’t be any easier with great tube and bus links as well as free car parking for up to 8,000 cars.

Wembley Stadium

Hosting major matches including the FA Cup Final, as well as all home games of England’s national football team and a variety of rugby matches. It also attracts some of the biggest events in music. It’s located just 30 minutes by tube from the centre of London. The stadium also gives visitors the opportunity of a behind-the-scenes tour which includes the history of the stadium and allows people to truly experience what it’s like in the press room and the player’s tunnel of the stadium.

The All England Lawn Tennis Club in south-west London is famous for its tennis tournament that takes place each year in June/July. Wimbeldon attracts world-class tennis players as one of the last four Grand Slam tennis tournaments in the world to be played on grass. It’s a very traditional tournament which is known for its all white dress code for competitors along with the consumption of strawberries and cream from the spectators.

Twickenham Stadium

Twickenham is the home of English rugby hosting all home games including the RBS 6Nations which takes place each spring.The stadium is also famous for hosting international test games, usually around November. There is a great atmosphere on match day which allows all ages to really experience the excitement of the day.

Brentford FC

Loftus Road Stadium in Shepherd’s Bush, 15 minutes down the road from Clayton Hotel Chiswick, is home to the Queens Park Rangers. Loftus Road has a compact feel to it, with supporters able to be close to the pitch.

The stadium has been shared with a number of others, such as the Rugby union team London Wasps, Premier League football club Fulham, as well as Jamaican and Australian national football teams.

Eventim Apollo

The Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith is one of London’s much-loved theatres with a rich history of entertaining the masses and it’s located near Clayton Hotel Chiswick. It is well loved and often described as an iconic live music and comedy venue located in West London. This music venue has seen some great music acts in years gone by including the Beatles, David Bowie and Bob Marley. The venue reopened in 2013 keeping a lot of its original art deco style and architecture.
