Opening hours: You can visit the Big Ben clock tower and the building of the Houses of Parliament from the outside at any time. Tours to the Houses of Parliament opens almost every Saturday; with extra days from late July to the end of August.

Cross the Westminster Bridge to the opposite side of the Big Ben, stand next to the river Thames in the sidewalk and take your memorable photo. At this point, you can take a photo of yourself with the Westminster bridge on your left side, the Great Clock in the background and the river Thames on your right side. How to get to Big Ben from Clayton Hotel Chiswick?
Clayton Hotel is easily accessed by public transport, road, metro or bus to Big Ben and London top attractions. A journey to London city centre takes about 30 minutes on the metro.
By public transport: Take the District Line towards Barking from Gunnersbury tube station which is only a 3-minute walk from Clayton Hotel Chiswick. Disembark at Westminster Station from where it is a 2 minutes’ walk to Big Ben.
By road: Head west on Chiswick High Road/A315 towards Power Road. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto the A4 slip road to Central London/Hammersmith. Continue onto Great West Road/A4. At Hogarth roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Great West Road Chiswick/A4. Continue onto Knightsbridge. Slight left to stay on Knightsbridge. Knightsbridge turns slightly left and becomes Piccadilly. Bear right onto Duke of Wellington PI. Turn left onto Constitution Hill. Continue onto Spur Road. Spur Road turns left and becomes Birdcage Walk. Continue onto Great George St/A3214.
