Knightsbridge is home to tourists from around the world as well as Londoners with many luxury and expensive shops, including the department stores Harrods and Harvey Nichols, and flagship stores of many British and world-renowned fashion houses such as London-based shoe designers Jimmy Choo, Manolo Blahnik and Prada.
Some of London’s international and Michelin-starred restaurants are here, as well as many classy hair and beauty salons and chic bars and clubs. If you’re not a huge fan of shopping in one of these superstores, there are plenty of London’s finest museums along the West End.
Hyde Park is just next to Knightsbridge and is one of the largest parks in London and Royal Parks o London famous for its Speakers’ Corner. Knightsbridge is definitely worthwhile for all kinds of travellers and locals to spoil a day or two there.
Directions from Clayton Hotel Chiswick to Knightsbridge:
Drive via A4 for 26 minutes
Walk a couple of minutes outside the hotel to Gunnersbury Station and get on the District line towards Upminster. Get off at Hammersmith Station and change to the Piccadilly line towards Cockfosters and get off at Knightsbridge Station
